Has anyone else had issues with their dogs lymph nodes swelling? Kayla's right one seems to swell up once in awhile. She's fine otherwise and it doesn't seem to be bothering her. It comes and goes and it's always just on that one side. Before I start thinking it could be something serious, could this be a pesky virus? Allergies? I am going to take her to the vet Saturday anyway to have it checked but thought my fellow Boxer owners might have some insight.

Keep, keep an eye on it, as this is the very first symptom of lymphoma. Not to scare you at all, honestly, but I kinda noticed it with my last dog and dismissed it. It was soon after vaccination. She ended up having lymphosarcoma. Has your dog been vaccinated recently, given heartworm meds, anything out of the ordinary as far as meds?

You can also give a lymph detox to flush any toxins out of her system. There are many herbs safe for dogs. I use Milk Thistle for five days after giving Heartgard.

OnlyNaturalPet carries a whole bunch, just to give an idea: http://search.onlyna...rchterms=detox.

Maybe go to the vet and suggest the detox, see what their opinion is. It may just be she's fighting something off.

Good luck. I honestly do not mean to scare you, just want you to be more informed than I was at the time with my dog.

Well we went to the vet today and it's nothing serious. She has an abscess. Just needed it drained and an antibiotic and all is good! I need to stop googling things..opened me up to all kinds of things it could have been and had me worried!
Thank you for the advice!

Oh, great news, but ouch for your poor baby. So glad you were able to get her in and get it taken care of. And I know you're kidding, but don't stop googling things. It's waaaay better to be safe than sorry. Let us know how she does.

What a relief!! I'm glad she's going to be okay.

I had to stop googling stuff when it comes to my skin kids. My daughter has a growth hormone deficiency, and I totally freaked myself out with google and webmd before we saw a specialist. :www_MyEmoticons_com__smokelots:
